Expanding list selection ​

Some pages split one list into sections, such as a jobs page grouped by department or a shop grouped by category. Simplescraper first selects one section precisely; 'Include similar' widens the selection to every matching section, so you scrape all the items in one run.

Include every section in the extension ​

  1. Open the page and click 'Start scraping'.
  2. When the selected list has matching lists beside it, the panel shows 'Similar lists beside it · N rows' under the list chooser, where N is the row count with every section included.
  3. Click 'Include similar'. The fields, the preview rows and the row count update to cover every section.
  4. Click 'Use' with the list's name to continue.

To go back to one section, click 'This list'.

Include every section on the dashboard ​

On the dashboard's Scrape page, a list that repeats under several headings shows 'Include similar lists' under the list chooser: tick it to take the items from every section, and untick it to keep one. When Simplescraper finds the full list on its own, the page opens with it already ticked.

When to use it ​

  • Job boards with listings grouped by department or category
  • Shops with products organized into sections
  • Any page where similar items are split into several groups
