AI Property Naming

Turn default property names like sc-1x2y3z into meaningful names like job_title and price in one click.

When selecting data with the extension, Simplescraper automatically generates property names. But depending on how structured the website is, these names are often not very useful. For example, selecting a list of jobs may result in names like sc-3ox-f4 instead of useful names like job_description.

Renaming them manually is time-consuming, especially when you have many columns.

AI Property Naming solves this. It understands the data you're scraping and generates clear, useful names for you automatically.

How to use AI Property Naming

1. Run a scrape on any page
2. Click the Edit Properties tab
3. Click Rename with AI
4. Review the suggested names — deselect any you want to keep as-is
5. Click Rename Properties to apply

The AI looks at the page title, URL, and sample data to infer what each property contains. Names are formatted consistently using underscores (for example, job_title, product_price, company_name).
