Scrape every page. Not just the first one.
Tell Simplescraper how the page moves on: a next button, a load more button or infinite scroll. It keeps going until your limit, or until no new data appears.
Trailhead 40L Pack reviews
★ 4.7 · 1,284 reviewsComfortable for long days and the hip belt pockets fit a phone.
Order one size up if you are between sizes on the torso chart.
The rain cover is worth it. Nothing inside got wet.
Fits a tent, a stove and four days of food.
Better built than packs twice the price I have owned.
Main compartment is great but small items get lost.
Hot weather hiking was fine, far less sweaty than my old pack.
One for me and one for my partner after our first trip.

Four pagination types
Next page button, load more button, infinite scroll or no navigation. Pick one from the dropdown in the side panel.
Automatic stop
Set a number of pages, or leave it blank and Simplescraper keeps going until it finds no new data.
Shift to select
If clicking the next button would open the next page, hold Shift over it to select it instead.
When to use pagination instead of a list of URLs
When page addresses follow a pattern, a list of URLs is faster because the pages scrape at the same time. When you have to click through in order, use pagination.
| Pagination | A list of URLs | |
|---|---|---|
| How it moves on | Clicks a next or load more button, or scrolls the feed | Opens every URL you give it |
| Use it when | You must click through pages in order, or the page addresses are not predictable | The addresses follow a pattern such as page=2 or /page/2 |
| Speed | One page after another, 2 seconds apart by default | Pages scrape at the same time, which is much faster |
| Where you set it | The navigation dropdown in the side panel | The scraper's Bulk scrape tab, with Generate URLs |
Never combine pagination and infinite scroll. If the page loads more as you scroll with no click at all, use infinite scroll. If any click is needed, use pagination.

FAQ
How do I scrape multiple pages with pagination?
Click the pagination icon in our Chrome extension, then click on the Next button or page number. When saving your scraper, specify how many pages to scrape and Simplescraper will automatically click through all pages.
Should I use pagination or batch scraping for multiple pages?
If URLs follow a pattern (like /page/1, /page/2), use batch scraping - it's much faster as pages scrape concurrently. Use pagination when you must click through pages sequentially or when URL patterns aren't predictable. See our batch scraping guide for URL generation tools.
What sites work best with infinite scroll scraping?
Perfect for modern feeds and timelines: Twitter/X feeds, product reviews, news sites, and social comments. Extract months of historical data or monitor new content as it appears. If it scrolls endlessly, we can scrape it.
How many pages or scrolls can I scrape in one go?
While technically unlimited, we recommend up to 100 scrolls for optimal performance - beyond this, scraping can slow down. For larger extractions, batch scraping is recommended. Contact us for high-volume solutions and workarounds.
What if clicking the Next button accidentally navigates away?
Hold the SHIFT key while hovering over the navigation element instead of clicking. This selects the element without triggering navigation.
